The fight against cancer has always been a collective effort. Pfizer and the American Cancer Society (ACS) are proud to have a long-standing partnership to help improve cancer care for all. For years, Pfizer and ACS have worked together to support patient services, advocacy, and research to effectively prevent, detect, and diagnose cancer. Together, our goal is to increase access to essential and quality cancer treatment for all patients.

Together, in partnership with the American Cancer Society, we are making real progress towards helping more patients get access to breakthrough medicines and the cancer care they need. We know the synergies created by combining our networks and mutual areas of expertise greatly increase our potential to improve the lives of people living with cancer by ensuring they have access to the most appropriate and timely care.

In addition, Pfizer has been a partner in several ongoing ACS initiatives, including smoking cessation efforts and programs focused on driving health equity among people facing cancer. Early in 2021, Pfizer awarded six grants in collaboration with the American Cancer Society to fund projects aimed at reducing gaps in care and barriers to treatment for Black men living with prostate cancer. Inclusion and equity continue to be the critical focus of this ongoing partnership in reducing cancer disparities across the country.

Pfizer is proud to be a patient-focused company, and the American Cancer Society is one of over 45 organizations who participate in their Patient Centricity Ecosystem, in which Pfizer shares information, identifies concrete actions, and collectively moves forward on solutions to problems that inadvertently create barriers for people facing cancer.

Pfizer is a critical partner for the American Cancer Society as we work together to address disparities in cancer care and mortality. With partners like Pfizer, we can get people back on track with cancer screening and save more lives. We are so thankful for Pfizer’s commitment to help us be there for cancer patients and their families. With their help, we are leading the fight for a world without cancer.
