Since 2009, the partnership between the National Football League and the American Cancer Society has been committed to saving lives from cancer. Through fundraising, education, and awareness initiatives, Crucial Catch focuses on the prevention and early detection of multiple cancers, including breast cancer. Crucial Catch helps more people catch cancer early, when it may be easier to treat.

Crucial Catch also addresses the unequal burden of cancer in underserved communities. The partnership has raised more than $18 million. Money raised through Crucial Catch supports the American Cancer Society’s Community Health Advocates implementing Nationwide Grants for Empowerment and Equity (CHANGE) program.

This program promotes health equity and addresses cancer early detection disparities through community-based cancer prevention programs that increase access to necessary cancer screenings.
